A Trip To Jamaica, Breaks Cinema Box Office Records.

Hello All,

In a time of an economy in crises, a country battered with the terrorist network organisation known as the Boko Haram, recession is on the high and yet!! Cinema box office records are broken.

“No matter the recession, push your passion a little further, and do something” a quote from Ayo Makun (AY) at the ground breaking award announcement at the prestigious, elegant Filmhouse IMAX Lekki.

In 2014 the actor/comedian produced at that time a record breaking Nollywood Blockbuster titled 30 Days In Atlanta, which grossed over N160 Million in 16 weeks at the box office.

In 2016 November 18th in 8 weeks at the box office of his new movie titled A Trip To Jamaica, a new outstanding record has been set to the tune of N170 million and counting….

It comes as no surprise when two of Nollywood greats AY (aka Akpos) and Funke Akindale (aka Jenifa) hit the silver screens with what movie critics have called the best entertaining movie of 2016.

Who is AY!! What next can we expect!!  There are whispers heard in corridors of Hollywood in a co-production with a major Hollywood studio on the next chapter of the Akpos adventures.

He is known as the prince from Warri that has brought Africa to it’s kneels as a comedian/actor.  The world waits in anticipation on what could yet be a star made for the Hollywood walk of fame.

So, as I often say! whatever the case may be, however the week is going, everyone needs a little relaxation time as often as possible and it remains our pleasure to offer you that and so much more, because your comfort remains our priority.  Until next week stay blessed.

Regards,
Remi[FBM]
